Just an ‘ordinairy’ day to celebrate

Three weeks have passed since I moved to Paris… and I’ve been constantly moving out  for doing something amusing during the nights… meeting new people, drinking Champagne or  an extraordinary delicious Mojito Rouge, dining, lounging and dancing. Even the taxidrives towards my addresses were already an insane experience, since nothing can be compared with the scenery of Paris at night. Staring at the beautiful enlighted ‘Tour de Eiffel’ when passing alongside the ‘Seine’, followed by the crowded extremely long and wide avenue ‘Champs d’Elysees’ that’s being guarded by the huge ‘Arc de Triomph’ driving up to the ‘Place de la Concorde’ with its ‘Obelix’ and fontaines that are still indicating the Parisian greatness (experiencing the same view, but from another angle, when I was looking out of the window during a party last Friday at a friends place at ‘Rue Rivoli’). Every glance, every corner, every restaurant, every artistic building, every boutique that I pass on my way through, make me realize that I am living in the vibe of one of worlds most beautifull bruising cities! These parisians just love to go out, having diner and taking drinks and not being bothered about what day of the week they are in. I just love the attitude of this tought. Every day in Paris is a day to celibrate… and the picture of ‘celibrating an ordinary day’ can be completed with... a bottle of champagne!

Leopard prints spring 2011

This winter you weren’t able to avoid the so called ‘animal look’… these leopard prints were hot! This coming spring design can still be found in many collections. I’d rather prefer a brighter leopard look, being a better match with the spring and summer spirit. That’s why one of the items on my ultimate ‘wishlist’ is the River Island short as well the sunglasses from Topshop. I’ll have to find a way to get these items out here in Paris!

Sales in Paris

It was a beautifull day in Paris and my man and I decided to go out for shopping! However the sales already started last Wednesday (where I was one of those crazy girls, who were storming into the several shops in the early morning, to be among the first ones that started grabbing for all the hot-items!) we took it slow this time.…in approximately six hours we went from our beautiful "Rue de Passy" (via Trocadero to enjoy the view) towards the typical boutiques at "Le Marais" (where we first ate a falafel after standing 20 minutes in line to gain shopping-stamina). We ended up walking the Marais at ‘Rue de Rivoli’, to got straight on to ‘La Fayette’ and later on finishing our walk at the amazing H&M at Champs-Elysées. Tired but satisfied from all the shopping we settled down in one of my favorite sushi-bars in Paris!

Lazy Sundays…I love it!

I think everyone knows what I’m talking about when I am mentioning the Sundays where you just want to relax and lounge for the whole day! Staying in bed all morning, finding your man making breakfast, surfing on the internet for hours watching the new arrivals of your favorite brands, lying on the couch, watching to much episodes of SATC, ordering sushi and thinking at the end of the day: So what the hell did I just did for today?!

I think almost everyone among us will just put on a comfy sweat. But what if you have to go out for just an instance? (E.g. walking the dog). Though you want to stay fashionable: then you could just pimp your outfit with a blazer or a leather jacket and some high heels (If you'd like, combine it with some accessories). And here you have your ‘fashionable-lazy-sunday-look’!

Les Perles de Chanel

Today the new colors of a limited edition ‘Les Perles de Chanel’ will be available!  There are three new nail polish colors: Pearl Drop, Black Pearl and Pêche Nacrée.

A Sparkling New Year

However NYE will seem far away for some people, for me it seems like it was only yesterday! When it was twelve o’clock and when I was drinking glasses of champagne, kissing my man and thinking about all things that were going to happen in a whole new year. I was quite excited as a new life was just about to start for me……since from the second day of January I was moving to Paris!

To remain in ‘sparkling moods’ I’m wearing my glitter waistcoat from Zara that I’ve bought in December. Hereby I show you how you can combine it!
